Yo-yo trying to reason with people like Gtech and his kind is like talking to a stone wall. They are so stubornly set in their brainwashed ways that they will never accept that they are in the wrong. You will only find out that trying to push reason and truth in their minds is like trying to mix oil and water together. You will only frustrate yourself and get nowhere with them. Best remedy is to let them drown in their own ignorence and eventually time and the truth will prevail and their arrogance will catch up with them.

    Did he touch a pee-pee?

If he did, and was democrat; he'd be re-elected 6 terms afterwards, voted to a leadership position in the house 5 times (by Pelosi, no less), and probably pardoned.

I was thinking the same thing. Every post he makes seems to have "brainwash" in it, as if to project his own shortcomings onto the rest of the world.

It's so easy to spot someone who gets their quality news from alex jones :D

Oh, I'm aware. Lorien and his pals voted foley into office and as you can see, rather than admitting how awful their judgement was, they try to spin it by making excuses that a democrat many years ago did something. What flawed logic they have ;) :D

Yes... not breaking the law 20+ years ago and being humiliated for it is a terrible thing.

    From lorien's link:
What's really terrible is that republicans are trying desperately to downplay Foley's disgusting behavior by bringing up things from 20 years ago.

who cares? i've never heard of foley before now.. but if what he did was true then it's wrong.

On the news, can't remember which one, NO not fox news, there were TWO (2) (dos) sets of communication.

The first was 'overly friendly' and the second was sexually explicit.

I'm not sure what that means but I bet someone will try to manipulate it. right? ok whatever I digress. I'm getting really sick of politics. I'm going back to business forums..

    I'm not downplaying. I'm making a point.

You are okay with a 17 year old kid having actual sex with a congressman (after taking him to another country, nonetheless), but are horrified by cyber sex between a congressman and a kid the same age as the previous kid. Is that your position, yo?

I don't know much about it, I do know mr reynolds was convicted and resigned from his place in office. He served 5 years for the crime. And the top democrats (didn't try to cover it up like the republicans) were ready for explulsion if he didn't resign.

We aren't talking about reynolds. We are talking about Studds. Please keep up.

    So again, I ask you:

There is a rather historically long list of both Republicans and Democrats who have engaged in inappropriate behavior.

It doesn't seem to be an inherent political thing. Rotten apples come up from both ranks.

In light of a period where there have been shootings in 3 schools across the country in recent times this is one more episode of the need to protect youths. That should be a political imperative from both sides. While this episode was not as horrible as the shootings it still speaks to protecting the young. That in its own right shouldn't be a political game.

The house should take serious actions to look into itself. The investigation should proceed along the lines of who knew what about Foley and when did they know it?

If an investigation finds that the House leadership didn't act upon prior knowledge of Foley's actions then they should be skewered.

Now if the investigation is not completed before the election then it should be fair game to discuss the implications and considerations about this latest scandel between now and the election.

Simple enough. Put corporal punishment back in schools. Where I grew up, if you were out of line in school, you got that ass tapped with a paddle. Hard core. It hurt, and to this day, I still remember Principle Chapman busting my ass in nineth grade (1979) with three swats for saying profanities in class.

Kids need consequences. We didn't have this crap back in my day. Liberals wussified our school system. We need a major dewussification of our school system.

If corporal punishment had been around, yo-yo wouldn't have turned out the way he did.

Yo just needs to start smokin' crack. If he's this incoherent not doing it; doing it might make him slightly more normal :p

FBI had the emails from him since July. Someone knew since April. Someone obviously knew before then. If this happened in 2003, what are the chances this just randomly comes out october 2006?
