PR 0 and PR 4 for the same domain?

    well, my little experiment (thanks to Bondat for the tip), is proof that google doesn't consider those to be the same domain (go figure).

    but now, following the instruccionts given, both www.alojate.com and alojate.com have pr4.

    What I still don't know if all of this will affect in any way my rankings. Hope it does! ;)

    Personally I think people should always stick with and promote the with www. version. As directory listings and various other areas cannot cope with both types and it certainly does lead to confusion regarding the PR of the site or page. Blogs are the worst for this, they often drop the www.

    I also noticed that some sites have different PR using sites that generate live PR.
    some have too different PRs = PR0 & PR5
    while others have close PRs = PR5 & PR6

    Agreed. I think is better to promote www.domain.com
    In my case, however, my domain is also my comercial name (we say it when answering the phone, for example).
    But for search engines, I always go for the www.

    It is quite possible, and all sites are linked to www.domain.com, and no to domain.com.
