Putting landing page on your site and bypassing vendor page?

Hello, I am wondering if people out there have dabbled or typically would just integrate the landing page or a copy of it into their own site for selling a clickbank product. It doesn't make sense to me to just presell a product on your website, and then have users click a link to go to another page. What seems to make the most sense is duplicating a very similar landing page as the product you are selling on your page, and then putting the add to cart button directly on your page for users to go directly to the section to add to cart.

Is this what others have done? Have others done this?

    Thanks.

Well... The idea is to PRE-sell your visitors... Tell them about the product you're promoting.. Good AND bad.

The main difference between buying somethin online and offline, is that offline you can see and FEEL the product.

Online (when we're talking digital products at least) you'd have to rely on reviews. That's why review sites and micro blogs works so good.

If you want to send people straight to the orderform, you better be better at selling than the vendor is...

Sometimes, there can be a really good product on a very bad salespage (filled with adsense etc.), then it can be a good idea :)

Well the idea is (and this can take a while to get good at) to pre-sell your visitors to make sure already sold on the Idea of the product in the first place...

That way, when they get to the vendors pitch page, they don't really read the copy.

They may glance through it but, more than likely they'll just skim, or better yet go straight to the vendor's sales page.

So, for example, if you have a vender and his web copy sucks, then you can pre-sell and then send him to the vendors pitch page.

    That's the Idea at least.

But as far as just bypassing the vendor's sales pages or direct linking to the order form... I've seen this done all the time.

And it can make sense to do that when there's a good product, with a crappy sales page...

But if you're going to bypass or direct link to the order forum I'd strongly sugguest to contact the vendor and get there permission ahead of time...

So... I guess I don't agree with everyone above then?
