Many SEO specialists say to go ahead and just create your Facebook page, Twitter etc as it will increase your ranking. As that may be true, I am more careful. Setting up social media just for SEO purposes might backfire. If you do not have the time to post and respond on your social media sites, just having them for a higher ranking may hurt you as potential clients get turned off and will not follow you anymore if they do not get an answer or see new content. Well i am not Saying SEO is golden ticket to everything but in aspect of result i think Seo is better, anybody have anyother suggestion then share.
In my opinion both are better for marketing. Nowadays peoples like social networking sites so we should create new account into social media optimization sites.
SEO is more important than SMO in many aspects. First of all, most of SMO links are no-follow they dont get any addition in keyword ranking and temporary in nature. SEO links is do-follow and long term permanent links. SEO is far better than SMO.
Thats why you can find automated tools to auto posting on FB and Twitter.. Google says they like to see you site in Soacial media and like see sharing among others That is how google real time search born.
It depends on your ROI ( return of investment ). So, the answer is both, just depends on what you`re promoting. SEO is a bit painful if you plan to have a high ROI just over night, cuz you can`t have it... Anyway, its a powerful weapon in the right hands.
But I think Social bookmarking is get us some instant traffic but not permanent , but if you rank your site by SEO search engine give regular basis traffic
SEO investment is better. But SMO will give you more traffic and sales. SMO is done for getting massive traffic.
I agree. And I would start out with one, and that would be SEO. You can do both, but when it comes to investments, I believe that SEO is better in the long run. I have invested in Scribe SEO, and I'm very satisfied. I spend a lot more time on SEO now than I used to, and the results have been great.
