cj deducts from existing commissions?

Recently, on the claim I had no sales-- CJ deactivated my account. I keep the account active because I am a web developer-- so I was not concerned about no sales-- however believe the statement untrue.

That said, when I reactivated the account they had zero'd my commission of $1.71. When I questioned they said as stated in the Publisher Agreement they deducted $10.00 per month from existing balances if no sales occurred. I sent my copy of their publisher agreement asking them to show where that was cited in the text. I did not see it-- nor did I find it when I searched. They have not yet responded.

Anyone else heard of anything like this?

They deduct 10$ everymonth after 6 months of you not earning any commision.

Yes, that is what they claim in the first email they sent [in response to my query]-- however they also said it was in the publisher agreement. can you cite where?

Yeah, same thing happened to me. Had only like $40 in my account but haven't done anything with CJ. Checked last week and my balance is now $0. I'd suggest using a better affiliate network.

Did you read your publisher agreement? Did you see the passage where they said they would do that?

Why don't you bother to read the Publisher Agreement yourself, instead of asking people?? Dormant account fee is a part of the publisher agreement.

The poster of the above statement-- do you work for CJ? Last poster-- the passage you cite is not what happened to me. However, thanks for the feedback.

So we need to read carefully about TOS.
Almost people forget or ignore this step.
To keep CJ active, we need to be motivated to promote affiliates and don't keep huge money in the account.Cash when enough right?

No, I don't work for CJ. What makes you think I work for them? There is no CJ stuff around DP.

According to your first post, this is what happened to you.
