Do you use blogs for marketing?

Hi all!

I want to make blog in pet niche and earn some money. Is somebody here using blogs and getting income > 500$? How many blogs do you run? Do you sell them or have long term blog that is successful?

Any tips regarding this kind of marketing are very welcome

Making money with blogs is very hard and takes quite a bit of time. I tried for a few months to make money with a blog of mine and didn't see any results. If you are willing to put in the time and effort they can be very profitable.

There are two main ways I have tried to make money with blogs. The first is to make one big blog and try to rank it for a lot of different keywords and the second is to make small blogs each targeting one keyword and trying to get those to rank at the number one spot at Google for that specific keyword.

Then you can monetize them by Adsense, amazon, or affiliate links.

 

I think blogs should be a part of your marketing platform, not the whole thing.
But yes, when done correctly, blogs can be very profitable.
I create a website and have a blog as one of my pages.

 

$500 a day, week, month, year? I think you'd have a better bet running multiple blogs in multiple niches to achieve your goal. I'm not saying to set-and-forget, but unless you're selling expensive products, something like AdSense won't give you much unless without receiving an incredible amount of traffic, which will take tons of time.

 

Nobody can give you better advice than blog mastermind.

 

Running multiple blogs will be useful in achieving your target. But, for that also you have to work hard and regular updates of all the blogs with unique and useful content is required. Running one big blog will be like a big bet with everything on the risk.

 

If you love blogging, it will be a joy to you, but if it is a chore, stay away. There are plenty of other ways to make a living on the net!

 

Well I have seen many blogging success, and $500 is easy to achieve after few months of hard work.

 

Blogs are good for sharing your story. If you can get in front of your audience and you are interesting, then you'll get a following

But if you do the same ole same ole, then you'll join the hundreds of other bloggers out there in the niche.

 

Its good idea but as colleagues said above that it is hard but not impossible. You will learn lots of things practically and impress your audience through your blog.

 

i think it is hard to bring some traffic if without unique valuable content on blogs

Yes, the blog is one of the ways to marketing, but not the only one, if you use it only, i think you cannot earn much money, you can use forum and many other ways to marketing. Goog Luck !

I meant 500$ per month in connection with Clickbank products, Amazon and banner advertising...and eventually build more blogs in different niches. Any hope for me?

 

Yes, it is one of the best strategies, blogging is doing good in SEO.

 

Well there are number of ways to make money with blog, I do have a free ebook on this subject, if you want a free copy, email me on here. But back to topic, you can do a review site blog to promote number of products, training programs, etc that you are selling online, and great way to make money, but back to the real deal, where do you get your traffic??? Then you really need to find where the hungry fishes are (your market) and use some tools that are easy to use like getting people to signup for your free offer like reports, ebook, etc.

 

I use 3 blogs, and all I do is related to content. Writing my own content and guest posts. Works great.

I use AWeber to build a list, and I send my newsletter once a week.
