I am wondering why filesonic is accepting downloads from all the countries in this world except for hong kong? lol

Server s33 with redirecting problem.

The page isn't redirecting properly
Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

 

Will filesonic block hk ip? Can i still upload file to filesonic in hk?

 

Fileserve and Filesonic both ban Hongkong.
And the funny thing is both Fileserve and Filesonic were build in Hongkong.

Seem like it must have a story here.
May be some legal issue I guess.

 

I have a problem with the web upload.
All seem to work properly: progress bar grows and ends at 100%; system says that the upload is complete, but ...

... when I click on 'View Li nk' I get this message.



I tried again. Three times.

And the file does not appear in the file manager.

 

I'm able to download from S33. Perhaps there is a problem with a specific file. Can you please PM me the link?

 

What browser are you using? Can you please try it out with FireFox and let me know if you get the same message?

 

For now, the site is still accessible in HK, but downloads from there aren't counted, and HK users are not able to buy premium accounts.

It was with Firefox; Firefox is my default browser.

 

Same with me, I am using Chrome to upload something into FS via webupload.

 

Do you mind to explain why?

I just uploaded something from my computer and i used firefox.When i clicked to View Links i got this message.
and the file is not in filemanager...please try to fix this problem,because its not so funny...

 

I've been a FF user since its introduction and wouldn't wish IE on my worst enemy, but I have to ask why this is often the response when browser issues are reported. I can understand if we're checking to see if the problem exists in all browsers, but it often seems as if the attitude is, "It's only a problem with IE, use FF instead." A large segment of downloaders use IE and small but significant amounts of downloaders use Chrome or Opera. I would think the goal would be to insure there are no browser issues with both FF and IE (if not all four), especially with the fickle nature of FSn in relation to download managers for free users.

 

Interesting question. As far as fraud goes, I can attest to earlier statements suggesting there are other spots where fraud is more frequent. I can tell you as a forum mod that Vietnam is by far worse. And why just Hong Kong, why not all of China? As another member wrote earlier it could have something to do with FSn having representation in Hong Kong (as was also pointed out earlier, FileSonic and FileServe DMCA reports are directed to practically the same address in Hong Kong).

Hopefully an answer will be available.
