Adwords Marketing Service

I have been referred to an Adwords marketer by a company that offers the same service as I do but is in a different geography. In talking with this marketer, he claims that Google pays him a "commission" and therefore there is no specific charge for his services. Is that a common arrangement?

hmm sounds fishy... he could be referring to the fact that he doesn't charge a flat fee but rather a percentage of adspend (which would naturally fluctuate)?
I'd ask for clarification from him before moving forward

As far as I know and have read, Google doesn't pay anybody any type of commissions for adwords. i think this guy is full of #$@%

 

As a Google AdWords Professional, this is correct.

 

Google does not pay commission for Adwords. Stay away from him.

 

I would love to know where this guy is from and report him...I hate this kind of rubbish from 'SEO' professionals. they give the legit ones a bad name.

I think that he is actually just chargin an up charge on the adwords ppc rate after digging into. Thanks to everyone for all of the help!

Thats very suspicious. Who is he and what is his company? I doubt google will offer special arrangements or deals.
