There is someone sometimes replying in this thread that has stolen a few previews from me; he did a remote upload of my file(s) and posted these together with my previews. Yes, I deleted those previews from my account and re-upped them for my own posts. "His" posts are still without a preview now.
Earning money is fine, but you don't earn by stealing from others. At least that's my humble opinion.

 

I've had the same happen to myself. While it is frustrating and I have taken similar measures to bustxpress when I discover it, I feel a bit uncomfortable complaining too loudly as the content is more often than not pirated from the copyright holder. I'm just as much a pirate as he is, I just don't stab other pirates.

That said, don't expect me to feel sorry for you when you get banned for piggybacking on me, bustxpress or anyone else.

 

there is no such thing as easy money, for me i also take time to download the video so that the original poster can earn from my download and then i grab my own screens. and first rule is dont repost a week-old or month-old post. for me i usually repost those >3months old files.

I have a very particular style of cap, so when I see it I know it is mine. And yes I also see it all over the place. I'm not surprised but sometimes I do reply with a link back to my post and just say "Looks familiar, nice post!" then I post the link to my page.

As for the guy above who got hacked, man that sucks. I hope everyone has their password at FS different from their passwords on any forum.

yep, we are all guilty of doing that but as a courtesy, each should download the file and make their own screenshots... after it happened to me a few times, what i did was to watermark the caps in the center so that it could not be edited without ruining the caps... i dont have a problem with people reposting my files but using my caps too.. that is a big nono...
