Now that I have a place to discuss so here they are, -> Keyword rank is a Page's rank or Website's rank ? -> How can we check a keyword rank for multiple websites ? Like I have 10 sharing websites. I want to share my blog post. I want to share it on the website which has the maximum rank for that specific keyword. How do I find that ? And is this useful like I will use the rank of that specific website for bringing traffic to me . -> How do you rank up in SERPS ? -> Some people say they can dominate your website in SERPS for some price of course. What methods do you think they could be using ? Also please explain that method a bit.
To rank well in the search engines, you need quality original content, a good domain name (exact match if possible), and quality backlinks. No one knows Google's exact formula for ranking, but having these things has been proven to help your site rank well. To find out what sites are ranking for a certain keyword, just type it into Google. You will find that most of the results are pages of a website rather than the website itself. This means that the page has that ranking, and not the entire website.

Well seeming as though you are referring to blog posts, I recommend you write blog posts with keywords in the headline that have 100,000 competing pages or lower this way you can dominate the 1st page. Here is a screen shot of a new plugin (keyword winner) that can do just that, it was launched just couple of weeks ago: * RED - 1,000,000+++ competing pages or higher (1,000,000 or more) * ORANGE - 1,000,000--- competing pages or lower (between 100,000-1,000,000) * GREEN - 100,000--- competing pages or lower Data comes from 1.
