Thanks for taking a look guys, I need all the help I can get, Im still only a week or so old at this stuff. I know my new blog site is in a low paying niche but it's a niche I am comfortable with providing original content. I'm curious to see what the pros think of the way it's laid out.

you 160x600 ads aren't fitting within the blocks. Try 120x600.

Looks neat, but like kkobashi says, the Google ad needs to be a bit thinner.

I have seen a lot of blogs, not bad at all. Take kkobashi advice, will make it look cleaner.

I forgot to ask, did any of you see the site as a black background or with the new lighter color scheme. I did some tinkering last night and really liked the clean look of the lighter colors. I have also changed the ad size to the 120x600. the top left column ad is from adbrite, I thought I would give them a try since adsense is only paying around 12 to 16 cents per click so far. I noticed with adbrite it takes longer for the ads to show up though so right now its blank.

Your adbrite ad is wasting prime space...no ads to display as always..
Try to bring some ads between the post... blend it more to make your ads appealing.

    Good luck

Is that a common thing with adbrite? I noticed when I changed the size of it it went back to "gathering data". Now I'm back to waiting on ads. I was afraid to change the position of it for now since I had to tell adbrite what location it would be in and I was afraid of getting in trouble for moving out of the way until ads appeared.

So how long have you been setting up this blog? You need traffic to get clicks on your Adsense.

I don't like it at all. You have just taken the original template and set it to dubble sidebars...
And it's way to spammy with all the ads.

What ads do you think I should get rid of? Do you think just a single bar on one side would be better?

That's not bad at all. For only 2 weeks old, you already got 20 clicks. That's pretty good.
