We pro's laugh at you wasting your time with looking for high paying click niches

Its about time someone puts this out on the table.
Everywhere I look in here everyone is asking the following "what niche provides a high paying click?"

Its slightly annoying so I'm going to tell everyone why you should not be doing this.
Let's start with an example shall we"

In the same sense focusing on high paying click sites is unrealistic for beginner to intermediate level webmasters.
Lets face it, the typical webmaster shows a major lack in quality care for their websites by using free templates, putting ads in by mass amounts, and using non-unique content therefore the typical webmaster has great difficulties competing and ranking high. By wanting high paying keywords you are asking for a face off against companies like VISA. The amount of corporate business that dominate these high paying keywords are overwelming.

At digitalpoint there is a trend us senior webmasters laugh at. first we see the "what's the high paying keywords" then in a month or so we see the "I can't get any traffic, how do I get traffic". We laugh because we own and compete against a few larger companies and the beginner to intermediate webmasters struggle to make a penny because they are too bigheaded to be realistic.

The people who are good to own the high paying keyword rank site are not the random webmasters you see at DP. They are the people who own 50+ franchises, the one's who have their own TV station, the one's who have a $500,000 investment.

The people like me who are somewhat successful do not chase dreams like that and slowly but surely we increase our revenue with adsense with a 9 to 30 cents per click rating and we do not complain about that because we get a LOT of traffic and just build the traffic up.

When will you all learn!

I have a question for you. Why is my eCPM getting lower? Went from .03 to .01. Any explanations?

 

Any of the following is propable.
1. Poor quality site
2. Poor quality traffic
3. The only people clicking are doing it by accident
4. You are in a drop bottom click rate sites like an "arcade" or something like that.

 

1- Could this be because i mostly use blogspot? I would assume it is...
2- That is not really a concern since i'm just starting

that's probably it. There are a few big shot bloggers using blogspot but not many. Typcially the people who use blogspot are too cheap to even purchase a $9 domain so that doesn't help. Unique content will bring the click worth up though.

Pretty much. Its just 7 to 30 cents a click isn't cheap though. Its average. Everyone is looking for the impossible around here.

Nope. Business in general if your good and have been doing it long enough. Its not easy doing it one way or another.

Trust me. Mastercard does not payout in random sites for the niche to adwords.

I agree, but can you really say you're a pro? Your seo site doesnt even come up on google's first page for montreal seo? If one advertises an SEO company it should be the first page. I personally wouldnt do business with someone that wasnt.

 

lol, those sites in my signature are not my own sites. They are rented out...... Montreal is at least 3000miles away from where I live.

I have several sites, one is in a very high CPC niche. Problem is its a forum full of nerds so it can go days without a single click. My real moneyspinner is an old site, low CPC, low CTR, but high enough traffic that it pays quite nicely thankyouverymuch. The site has my own interests and my own artwork and I quite enjoy making it, I'd do it if there was no money in it but the money is very nice.

But having a site utterly not made for adsense isn't stopping me doing minor tweaking to squeeze just that wee bit more money out of it. I have bills to pay and all that.

Well none of them get any attention whatsoever except one. The others are just there is get a longterm increase for 5yrs.

 

Four or five years ago when I started it was all about Mesothelioma, holy smokes it was ridiculous; any somewhat sensible person would have seen the buzz around mesothelioma and said okay that ship has sailed....still many tried to get aboard.
