Hello there, I just install a plug-in WP-o-Matic. It fetched the articles from the websites that I entered in feedburner. However, it only shows part of the article. When clicked on the title to read complete article, it redirects to the source URL. Can anyone help me with this? I do not want it to be redirected to the source link. Also, how do I add source link at the bottom of each article to prevent from any copyright issues. Thanks in advance. P.S. The website I am talking about is gamersplaygame.com
In the reading options, If a blog owner selects "For each article in a feed, show Summary" then only the summary will be shown when articles are fetched and displayed in your website .. That's why you can't use wp-o-matic with every blog .. you need to find blogs displaying the full article in the feed .. For the second part of your question, and for an existing campaign , click campaigns >> edit >> go to the options tab >> and add {content} <a href="{feedurl}">Go to Source</a> Code (markup): In the custom post template .. you can of course change "Go to source" with whatever you want .. Good luck
Part-1:- I sorted it. I had selected to Link Title to Source. Now it is not redirecting to the source page, however, I can only see the first para or say summary of the article. If it is not possible with wp-o-matic, do you know any other plugin or software for this please? Thanks again!
Nope .. you can't pull content from blog owners who selected to only display summary in the feed .. and maybe they did that for a reason ! (they don't want the content to be displayed anywhere else) .. so just search for other blogs displaying all the content in feeds .. and asking for permission doesn't hurt either .. if you have money to spend, then take a look at http://wprobot.net/ , a premium plugin ..
wp-o-matic was one of the first auto blogging solutions and many people had problems with it. The main reason for any problems was due to how the host handled cron jobs, this is especially true for plesk based hosting
WP robot is good...but there are much more advance plugins available to convert your blog in autoblog. But much of them are not compatible with the latest version...So just wait up a little
If you're using a autoposter plugin make sure your robots.txt file is set up to DISALLOW the engines from spidering your plugins folder. Not doing so is basically screaming at The Big G and saying "Hey my blog is a auto blog, slap me!"
