HELP! While linkbuilding I can't register to some sites anymore

Discussion in 'Link Development' started by Danny0109, Nov 7, 2010.

While building links with signatures and bio's, I can't register to some sites anymore because they register me as a spammer (which I'm not).
And now I get a new message
I make around 20links a day. That shouldn't be too fast.

Any way to get past this problem?

Many sites will block you when you try to register a few dozen accounts from the same IP.
You should use proxies or DSL line with dynamic IP. There is no other solution.

You must have done spammy activities thats why you have been blocked from other websites too.

You can pass this problem by:
Requesting them to remove your ip from blacklist.
    By changing your ip.

First check your Ip is really blacklisted on http://whatismyipaddress.com/blacklist-check

Are you continually adding profiles on the same sites? If so, branch out!

If it's a new site to you.....sounds like it might be time to change up your username and email address so the Spam police don't have you on their list. This is easily done with free sites, or just make a profile email address to your site.

Those sites might have noticed your activity of frequent registration and might thought you're doing something fishy..

    Looks like it.
But I haven't registered more than once on each website.
But apparantly some sites use the same forum system and ban you from other sites with the same system.

I have no clue how proxies work. I'm not that good with computers....

The concept is pretty straight forward and easy to implement: How to Use Free Proxy with Firefox ;)

I have tried several sites for getting proxy addresses. So far none of them worked.
Maybe it has something to do with the Chinese firewall..

    Thanks for your help anyway!

There are some proxies that work better than others, unfortunately I don't know any way to identify them other than through good ol' trial and error. You can ask someone who's more experienced with the actual mechanics of it all, hopefully they can help.

Your issue, by the way, could come from using internet in a public place. Library computers on a single network, for example, all share one mask IP
