Just wondering what the effectiveness of no-follow bookmarking is. I use to only do bookmarking if it is do-follow, however I've heard that no follow has some value because of how google is more geared towards current events. Any thoughts?
Don't worry about nofollow tags - first off, only Google pays any attention to it, so nofollow links will still help you rank in other search engines. PLUS... it may look unnatural to Google if you have 1,000's of dofollow links and no nofollow links.
rel="nofollow" usually this tag could be added to <a href> tags in order to prevent spiders to follow outgoing links , most external links on wikipedia.org or youtube.com have this tag
do follow line by which page rank transfer for example <a href=website name > ///// </a>. no follow- nofollow link by which page rank does not transfer on other website. <a href = wesite name rel= nofollow >////// </a> by this code page rank does not transfer.
While nofollow links might have less value than "dofollow" links. They will help on the other search engines as has already been covered but they also generate interest and traffic. From what I've read build the links and don't be so concerned about whether or not it is "nofollow" You never know if a blogger might find your nofollow link on a social bookmarking site, go to your site and mention it in his/her blog with a "dofollow' link...
