Adsense Metric - "Coverage"

When I logged into adsense today, I was greeted with a message: "Would you like to log into the beta version of our new interface?" Of course, I did... and it's pretty neat.

Inside, I was noticed a new "coverage" metric in the "performance reports" section. It says I have 99.96% coverage. 99.96 sounds great - but I have no idea what it means.

What is coverage - what does it mean?

    Thanks.

Coverage in the new interface refers to the percentage of ad queries that were able to display ads for your content. The closer you are to 100% the better because it means Google was able to display relevant ads based on your content. A coverage of 50% means that Google was only able to display ads 50% of the time. If your coverage is less than 90% it shows that your content is not focused enough or your niche has little or no advertisers.
    Hope that helps :)

    You made me look :)

Well that is weird ... I have 100 on most channels, 96 on the channel with the 0-0.01 CTR and the terrible untargeted ads, and 0.7 on my link unit! However they work it out, link units fail this metric in a major way. How bizarre.

One more question - what is RPM? It's another metric on the same screen as coverage. Thanks.

Where is this "coverage" figure available?

I am not able to find it in my account.
