The forum in my signature was PR2 for about a year now, but the forum is now showing PR4 since yesterday. And one of my blog which was PR2 drop to PR0 about two weeks ago, I am now thinking maybe Google is not go to be updating PR on a regular/general bases as they used to do before, because of all the irregularity of the general update. So what you gy think about the minor update that is going on.
I think there is another minor update yesterday, because the forum in my signature just gain PR4 from PR2 and this happen yesterday.
I have seen many of my websites got updated on their sitelinks between 2 weeks recently. There was a one major change and not minor as you may think of, about how they handle manipulated links. This info was come from my personal observe and may not be that correct. Even saying that, I have some confident about it anyway.
Its such a big company and there is so much competition that these effects are being seen. May be this is the result of some mismanagement or their involvement in new projects for improving their services. But, you don't have to worry, this problem is not permanent, may be google realise it soon.
Is there any rhyme or reason to what gets updated? I hear about minor update after minor update after minor update and every one of my pages stays rock still...
I think the minor update is to correct some Google PR, because the forum I am talking about has been PR2 for a year, before it turn PR4 yesterday. I think something is going on in Google about PR, which Google have not make known to us.
My SERPs are changing all the time - going by traffic patterns - but I've only had one site change PR, and that was from 1 to 0.
Well, everyone assumes they will, but the time since the last update just gets longer, and longer,and....
Google is always updating and always will. I wouldn't worry about changes day to day, look at it week to week or bi-monthly
No update for me yet. I hope that they do update my entertainment blog since I want to get a lot of traffic to it.
