I'm getting traffic from Google onto one of my sites that I don't publicise...I've tried all the usual tools (such as http://www.seocase.net/search-engine-position-checker.php) to check for my ranking against the search terms I might have expected, but I'm drawing a blank... Google webmaster tools isn't any help either -- what's the best way for me to find out what search terms are generating the traffic? Thanks
When you see the green circle with ">>" mark before the referral name, click on it and then click on "Content". This will point you to the page that referred to your site.
In google analytics, you'll get the keywords that people used to find your site. You'll also know which websites refer them to your site. It is powerful and better than any webstats tool you can find out there.
...not from Adwords, from google search results...I know the referrer domain is google.com or google.co.uk, BUT I also want to know what search terms visitors are entering that lead them to my page.
