    Greetings,

I read couple of thread before posting including one from jdR!pper's "iTrader 101 - Part I" (http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=201652)

When I try to give a i-Trader feedback to member a caution message I get

"iTrader can only be given if a transaction took place and money changed hands (or if a transaction was setup to happen and someone backed out). iTrader given for reviews, given when no transaction was setup, etc. will be considered fraudulent and subject your account to immediate termination."

I'm bit confused does this means transaction setup has to be in the public forum of the thread (means we should have the deal in the thread itself) or the transaction setup (deal) has to be through PM system in DP forum and only valid for i-trader? Any other ways such as "Email Communication/ chat" is not valid for i-trader?

My situation is: I was contacted by a member for a work, we had a chat/ email comm and deal was finalized. we agreed that once I receive payment I will deliver files as he was not willing to pay upfront. Next day work was done and files were ready. He said he would like to go BST way so that he have option for itrader. I had no issues. He created a thread and then after he dint reply for 2 days. Meantime I emailed him twice he din't reply. And finally he replied that he tried to contact me but he coudnt get through me (which is false claim as he had sent no email/ PM, chat/email) so he hired someone else to do that job. I suspect while he posted the thread received a cheap deal and thus he refrained from the payment while I had time spent on the task.

Can i leave i-trader feedback as the deal happened on chat outside DP but with a BST thread?

    Thanks. Appreciate your time.

    Thanks in advance.

No, iTrader is not for deals in PM or outside of DP.

Thanks for the information. Does it mean then the deal amount, deliverable, TAT etc to be discussed within the BST thread/post? I rarely see any discussion on deal in the public thread in the BST. I see a buyer post the requirement and then the trail of interested sellers saying "he/she/anc company can do this and a PM sent" but not the actual deal is communicated in the post (and i guess it shouldn't be or it should be? I guess no seller would feel comfortable to reveal what he/she quoting for the job).

The Buyer/Seller/Trade talks mostly on Pm's or messenger.

However "digitalpoint" is referring that iTrader is not valid for deals in PM. But normally deals happens in PM but still members receives iTrader. Owner/ Mods, please shade some light.

    Thanks

The guy you're referring (with quote unquote) "digitalpoint" is a Mod, an Admin and the Owner of Digital Point.

What he means is that if there is advertisement in the sig of an advertiser about " Cheap article writing services " and you contact him for the articles and have a deal because the initial talk started from an outside source and not a thread then itrader can't be given regardless of its the amount of deal.

Thanks Laxman for your effort to clarify iTrader. As I understand now,

    Valid iTrader

    1. Thread created with requirement
    2. Seller get in touch with buyer in PM and finalize the deal
    3. iTrader is valid

    In-Valid iTrader

    1. Deal finalized thorugh PM
    2. Thread created with requirement
    3. iTrader is invalid

Thanks everyone for your time and clarifying iTrader feedback.

No, its not that. Its just that if you get in touch with buyer or seller through a sales thread, and do a deal it is eligible for itrader and if you reach him somehow like through his sig or someone reccomends him then not eligible for itrader.
