There hasn't been a major PR update since April 1, 2010. Fast isn't going to happen.

Actually that is true, there hasnt been a Major Page rank export for over 9 months now , there has been small PR changes for Penalised sites and internal pages but nothing to shout about.

Correct, the most significant change I have seen were some of my new sites home pages going from n/a to 0 and some internal pages doing the same, perhaps even getting a 1 or 2, that's all since a long time what has happened, SY

Maybe they forgot? Someone should email them immediately.

Though seriously. I used to be interested in pagerank, really interested and that is the only thing what I cared about. However I care about traffic now and where it comes from, that is the only way to make daily profits from your websites. Pagerank isn't going to do that for you. Keep building your websites up, just for the purpose gaining quality traffic. I know this has been said thousands of times however I feel you need to keep saying it otherwise this idea of pagerank being God becomes too overcoming.

There is no chance for dropped domain to get a PR ?? Even PR1 or PR2 ??

I start to suspect that they are dropping PageRank altogether. They have often enough hinted that they plan to do so. As long as my traffic increases I am not worried. Just write great, useful content and build links to it, rinse and repeat and all should be fine

Just because the domain has been deleted it don't mean that it wont get.

All depends on if the dropped domain has some nice, juicy backlinks pointing towards it, SY

Well Pagerank is still somewhere in googles algorithm, besides you gotta take into consideration: The PR updates we see, aren't the ones google does for themselves. There's a good chance they have weekly up to date PRs of almost all of the higher PR sites (5+), they just don't publish them.

Somewhere yes, but more likely incorporated the the SERP rankings, there hasn't been a real PR update since April this year, and I start to wonder if there will be ever one. Perhaps some other service will take over? Alexa? SY

But I mean it's not really that important anyways is it? If PR isn't updated, then it's less reliable in evaluating sites.

So you for yourself should stop trying to achieve high PR and instead focus on gathering links from sites that have authority through good SE rankings & great content.

I'm just saying, PR is just an artificial value which you could guess anyways.

Well I don't know if anybody noticed it or not!

The PR of orkut has changed 3-4 times in last month.
It was on PR7 the dropped to PR5 then again dropped to PR4 then again back to PR8. So it clears that they didn't stopped giving value to PR. Well I myself never believe on PR but wanted to share my observations to all those who still believe on PR. So guys stick with your hopes, they will definitely do updates!
