Hey lee are you in the states or not? If you aren't than AlertPay or Moneybookers could be a better option. What are you selling? How much time do you want to spend on customer service?

If you answer, Digital products and Non or Not much, than try one of theses, Clickbank, Plimus, Avangate, 2Checkout, Paydotcom.com. With all or most of these your affiliates are set up through their system, and they handle All the payment processing and returns.

While their processing fee's are more expensive it depends on your needs, how much time and money do you want to spend setting all this up yourself.

I do not recommend Paydotcom.com because they require affiliates to have a PayPal account to get paid. Contrary to what PayPal tells the World there are many people who can't receive or withdraw money from a PayPal account.

Plimus, 2Checkout, and Avangate allow you to get a Payoneer card to withdrawal your sells And allow affiliates to do the same.

Clickbank, I have word from them that they will also be offering the Payoneer withdraw option in the future.

By the way Plimus, Clickbank and I believe 2checkout allow you to sell physical goods as well as digital and services. And they offer buyers the option to use PayPal.

One advantage Plimus and Avangate have is they can/will make their checkout page look just like your site so a buyer really doesn't know they have left your site to process a payment.

It would really help if posters would say were their from and what they need in a processor keep this in mind for future post.

PayPal is such a generic answer and is always the answer until they hold your account/money for no reason than the same guy who said PayPal now says they suck.

A manual payment gateway. A lot safer for both the merchants and consumers than real time payment gateways and payment processors.

Stating the same thing over doesn't really help.

People shopping online are not looking to have to Call someone to process their order. Which is what you are suggesting hhsaus. Additionally this is just not cost effective to hire someone to be on watch 24/7 to "Take" orders.

If you are referring to just a "Credit Form" where the individual has to fill out the form completely i.e. name address etc. this really has no bearing because someone wanting to comment fraud is not going to stop just because they have a to include some additional information. PayPal offers this same service if you have a merchant account.

What ever system you use Manual or Real-time ALL processors allow Buyers to GET BACK their money if they aren't happy so a manual payment gateway alone the answer.

Small biz.. with little to no revenue -> paypal. If you have some cashflow then get your own merchant account(s).
Retarded to stay with paypal longer than necessary.

I think you don't really understand what a manual payment gateway is. It's nothing like you have mentioned above.

Yes, I was understanding it as something else.

You are correct that it is a More secure method of CC transactions for customers and it removes a lot of responsibility away from the merchant and their processor by not keeping this type of information available for someone to Hack and Steal.

So you are 100% correct in that it is probably the most secure for.

The "Brainwashing" you pointed out on another thread (http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1989023) is what makes this all the more difficult.

PayPal is the best one, Moneybookers is 2nd option. Plimus and 2CO are also in the line. You can choose them according to your needs.

    Hope it will help.

    Thanks !

I wouldn't recommended any one man company getting a merchant account, unless you have a fraud software in place..I lost almost $4000 on fraudulent charges and plus my merchant account witch Chase got terminated( 14% charge backs) ..Scammers don't use international address for shipping now..They use forwarding address now, witch is less suspicious for merchant...Seems these people find a loophole in authorize gateway.
