Why are vendors not telling us how their product works before we buy?

I know that they do not tell us how their program works in the sales pages so they maight get more sales. But that can end up in refund. Take for eg. softwares. Almost all softwares have trial version. And you can test them before you buy. But here I realy don't like the gurus approach. Even if you want to promote their product by writing review, You can not find any real info about their product from the salespages. Most are just like that and this is no good. I simply don't like that.

Have you tried asking for a review copy, some tutorials and more information by directly contacting the vendors?

Having a software with a trial version, you at least as an affiliate would not like this. Because, first you may lose sales - you brought the customer, but customer just got the trial version, second the vendor can put what ever links he wants in the trial version when the trial is over in order to purchase the licensed software, so again you are loosing sales, so I really do not see why do you complain about. Anyway, most of the vendors will respond to your requests if you need more information, just have to ask first. If they do not offer, then it is maybe even not good idea to promote their product.

No what I wanted to say is that you need to have an idea of what the program(product) is about before you buy. You need to have at least a birds eye view of the system. Yet what you get from the sales page is only about how much money you can make from the system. Now I wanted to buy some "Make money" product but the only info I got was only how much money I can make with it. I just needed further information so i can see if the system is for me or not.
About software, I sold more than 25 copies of a software with only one refund. Now I can call this business. Of course there are a number of quality products in clickbank but most of the Make Money products are just like what I said and that is too bad.

Many vendors refrain from explaining exactly what their product entails because of the problem of thieves and copycats.

Most copycats will not buy a product, and so if you're able to dress up your sales copy in a way that induces people to buy without having to disclose the vital details of your solution, then you're in a win win. That's the way I see it at least.

Also, most people buy on the benefits of a product and not the actual content... meaning that if you said:

"This e-book has 54 pages of rock solid Acne solving content"

it wouldn't push as many buttons as

"A completely scientifically researched solution to fix EVERY possible Acne problem"

Hope someone agrees with me lol

There's certain ways to see if a product will convert for you or it's just a waste of time.

Every niche has quite a few products to choose from....

Test the products out before you sell them. If they work fine, if they don't choose a different one.
In former thread, someone advised to email the provider and explain your situation and ask for a free copy. You will find out how they respond to customers. Sadly some do not even respond to email contacts, others are helpful.

Yeah emailing the vendor would be better.

Just contact them and ask for more information (a review copy, preferably)..
