I honestly hate twitter and I think it's not a real attention grabber for marketers, unless you proceed with the following steps. A) Build followers from a companies brand, video or website. B) Have very niche and targeted followers (Who want your product/services) C) You are a celebrity, singer, band, or an actor. What do you think about Twitter as a Social marketing tool?
Our twitter site is: http://twitter.com/#!/Vogsoft . So far, just 93 Followers. A) I build followers from website www.vogsoft.com - freeware-download website. B)I have targeted customers (who need the products) C) I'm a normal person
I see people getting wild sums of traffic and money from Twitter. I don't know, I never really managed to get all that Twitter craze right. I can get a lot of traffic from Facebook, social bookmarking websites and Google, but Twitter is enigma to me, really. You can't be good at everything - stick to what works and improve it till perfection. For everything else, there is Mastercard (and outsourcing)
That's what I noticed too. You have to be a celebrity or someone famous or you have to apply online marketing strategies to experience Twitter craze.
Yes twitter is a marketing tools but we have to go through long procedure and as JoeFreeLee says its very easy to use twitter as a marketing tool if you are celebrity.
I really don't think twitter will bring much traffic to me.But i still post my product information to it for people.Maybe it is helpful to our search ranking...
I only use it sparingly; I think it's only useful if you have a great deal of followers who are actively using Twitter also. If you have 1000 followers and only 2% of them actually use Twitter daily, then chances are whatever you tweet won't actually hit your Followers for quite sometime.
I notice a lot of twitter accounts getting pulled out and suspended because they're literally fake... but I do not see a good return with twitter. Other advertisers are noticing twitter isn't a good tool anymore for marketing, when I see commercials. They refer more to facebook rather than twitter.
I think twitter also not a good advertising tool unless you are a popular person such as Artist. Better promote using Google Ads, etc.. worth!
Twitter is a very important tool when it comes to social media marketing. It allows you to build up targeted followers, engage in highly relevant conversations and drive people to your website. Isobel agency:2
If you would ask me, I say twitter will be an effective marketing tool if you used in a right way.. and would also depend on the niche of your site or product you want to market.. Twitter will help you reach your target market easily using the right technique.. therefore I think it really is still powerful..
Twitter is a very important social marketing tool. I get a lot of traffic from it every single day, and I use it to connect with people (networking). It works great.
it's filled with spammers seriously... But i guess there is still money to be made if you have ten of thousands of followers, but the prob is, it's very difficult to reach that level..
