Akamai terminate contract with VPS.NET, Whats the alternative choice?

Just got an email from VPS.NET.

Do you know any Akamai Resellers out there, that we can migrate to?

 

Odd. Their web site still lists Akamai CDN as one of the services they provide.

 

I know, I got email just awhile ago, maybe thay are going to change the site. Or they still hope they can sort out with akamai, maybe

 

Most recent email is: they only give us one week to do all the transfer work !!!

 

If you are looking for another good and affordable CDN , try Voxel.net ... I've used them my self.

 

no luck, cannot find another reseller. seems akamai withdraw from mass market.

I have to change my CDN, I order a MaxCDN, test is fine, first test site http://seo.x-y.in/ is quite fast.

 

Why are not you going with LEVEL 3?

We chose Akamai for their network in Africa.
Level3 only covers North America and Europe. So Level3 is not an option.

Any alternatives?

I'm also interested in finding an alternative reseller for Akamai, and for the same reason: they seem to be the only CDN that offers a POP in Africa.

Anyone know of any alternatives? Or know of another CDN that has a presence in Africa?
