Analytics Code

    Hi friends. ı registered for Analytics. I read there that I must copy and past the code before </head> tag in my web page ! Will I past this code to theme which I used ? And which file? Index.php or what ?

    Depends how your website's been developed. Usually, you would want the tracking code to be in all your pages.

    Thank you sawmynaden. My site is Wordpress. I copied and pasted the code to footer.php. Is it ok ?

    No prob. Wordpress should have a file called header.php. It's better if you paste the code in there.

    I agree sydneysuperyacht... It is good practise to put javascript code to the end of content, before </body> tag... (It is good from angle of SEO (page speed response, and for analytic result - track only full page load)...

    Yeah you are right....Its really simple....you have to paste your code before closing the body tag.
