Jackburton, i have gone through the article directories and found a zillion one page adsense sites, so apperently google doesnt seem to mind as long as its making its money

LOL. I'm not saying they mind. Google doesn't care how long your site is. Just don't think that just because you're making them $5/day they won't ban you on a whim, that's all. The other guy was making the point that because he was making Google $5/day, they will never ban him, which is just idiotic.

Jack then why dont they ban all 1 page sites? No one can answer this question yet. Im assuming that since all the sites i have seen so far havent been banned i see no reason why they would ban my sites when i build them. What the difference as long as i put relevant, original content? If you go against their tos they will ban you but i havent seen anywhere in their tos that says they will ban you. Plus i have seen one page sites make it into the first page of yahoo and msn for their main keywords. I think they key with adsense is think small earning with many different sites in different niche areas. By the way Jack, Jessica Alba is the queen of foxes:)))))))))))))))))))))))))))

One-page sites are fine, but it's a foolish way to make money on the net. Several big sites will earn you more money than you ever could with a 1,000 1-page sites. Big sites provide a constant stream of income from a variety of sources, whereas your 1-pager is probably dependent on Adsense. There is no security or future in building 1-page sites.

My 1page site was making money first by selling keyboards. There was a specific type that I was able to get a good domain for, buy for sub-$15, and sell for $40+ship. I got great ranking very fast. Added adsense just for fun.

The keyboard is no longer available, so I've beefed up the adsense, added a page, and am going to start adding more pages and backlinks to gain SE rank for other keywords. I think it's a site that could make $10/day with adsense without too much trouble. currently doing a minimum of $1 with only 20 or so visitors ;)

I've got several one page sites, that i use to gauge my next development project, i create a simple single page site with an article or two that i write, then leave them alone whilst developing one site.

I then use levels of traffic and earnings to guide me towards my next project.

yeah I'm okay with one of my sites bringing in $300 a month without any work. I don't make a living that way so a few extra bills a month buys me 6 more lift tickets.

Exactly! 1 out of every couple of hundred one page sites can grow into somthing very special.
