Yes, wordpress.ORG is a blogging tool. But it can be used as a CMS to create common homepages with great SEO results. Many do that. But if you want a very large and complex site, or have a site where you sell a lot of stuff, I personally would not recommend wordpress, but a "real" CMS like drupal or joomla (You need more flexibility though). Watch out for DNN (DotNetNuke) though. It's very easy to use, but I would not recommend it, not for big business and not for SEO. I know, I am using it a lot. LOL!
Hello, I would strongly recommend you to get wordpress which will reduce your costs and help you for a better SEO. However, CMS is much efficient in SEO than any other sites like joomla etc, so if you are interested in spending money and getting your own CMS (Content Management System) website then I can assist you further as we provide websites with limited CMS and full CMS rights. For any further queries, please shoot me PM and I will send you further details. Sincerely, Imran Nazir
I suggest Wordpress, because it is very easy to use, there are plenty of plugging available themes, it is very flexible. ALL-in-One SEO plugin help optimize your site on the criteria in a breeze. WordPress CMS is best for SEO.
DataLife Engine (9.0 release will be at end of August) because much of SEO functions is already built-in, so much less needs for additional plugins, usually needed in other CMS after initial setup. "Friendliness" of CMS depends on it's functionality, so making the same content on more stabile basis (esp. having in mind security) is saving your time.
Have you though of MODx, http://modxcms.com/. It's fast, flexible and very strong on SEO. It's also a real CMS, as opposed to WP which is really a great blog with some CMS bolted on. Also with WP I find that you need to update the plugins almost constantly to have bug fixes and incompatibilites resolved.
The best CRM solution i have ever seen is from a Hong Kong software development outsourcing company. http://www.softwaretailor.com/

I would hazard a guess omsasia that your top positions are not just the result of using Wordpress for CMS are they? If they were then every wordpress site would be no'1 and I know from looking around that it doesn't work like that.
There are many secrets on how SEO works. If you just rely on CMS, then your sites traffic will never increase. You can only rely 10% of the optimization from the CMS (on-site). The remaining 90% will be from backlinks, site partnership, listings and etc,. To know more about optimization, try reading our free SEO E-book. You can download it for free at omsasia.com
it depends on your web development requirements mate. wordpress is very good for blogging. but joomla is way better for shopping related, user management, etc. both are very good with seo
