Somewhere in my heart it silently screams "David Gilmour".

musically - yes, probably Gilmour. he's much better on his instrument, and Waters can't really "sing" technically. but if you're talking about lyrics and intelligence, it's Waters hands down. The Wall was almost completely his ideas, and some of his solo albums (Amused to Death, etc.) are equally thoughtful.

When it comes to guitar, Gilmour would make it into the all time top 10..

When it comes to Song Lyrics , Waters would make it into the all time top 10...

So why can we not have them together,,, And not just for LiveAid.. Would pay good money to see that..

Wow okay now I realise why I hadn't heard of Robert Watson before, he didn't exist. Righto. Well Gilmour has a CBE, which is pretty bad ass.

    Well, he truly deserves it.

To those who say, well, Roger wrote all the lyrics, how do you explain that the judge didn't decide in his favor when there was a dispute going on regarding that after they split? If the lyrics are his, he has all the copyright rights. Yet, he never enforced them on David, which tells me they all contributed to the songs. Roger more than others, but without the others there would be no Roger as we know him.
