I have a hosting plan and one domain that is not being used. Its just sitting there and I dont want it to go to waste. Any1 have any suggestions? Possibly some money making suggestions?
You can make money just parking your domain, but if you already have a hosting plan, try developing a website with multiple affiliates, in example, an e-commerce portal. www.shareasale.com is a good network for starting up.
If you have the time, and if the domain is suitable, write articles, or copy them from free article providers, and put up adsense, affiliate banners, etc
Turn it into a minisite / one page site with some relevant RSS feeds / content. Submit it to directories and wait for its PR to increase. Start selling links once it gets a decent PRs. In the meantime, put in some contextual ads. Hope it helps
You should not get into trouble for using free articles provided you took them from article sites where they're meant to be free, and the only requirement is you should include the writers backlink. Most people use scripts written in php language or other languages. Scripts have varying quality and user friendliness...some are free, and some are not. It really depends what site/requirements you have in mind. If you dont want to use a script, then you can use Dreamweaver or Microsoft Fontpage to build your site page by page...Unless you are really proficient in using them and know some html...it may not be easy.
