Hi all, it's my first post. I'm a memeber of the warrior forum & asked the question below over there but I didn't get an answer. I'm hoping someone here can help me out with this one... I'm looking at buying a link on the home page of a high PR blog but looking at the source code & noticed the "nofollow" tag on a blog comment link. My question is, does the "nofollow" tag effect links on the home page or just the comments section? If a blog or site has the "nofollow" tag does it mean every outbound link is effected by it? Thanks
Its depend where nofollow tag is placed if its placed in Meta tag in head section then all outbound links will not follow and if its placed only in comment section then it will work for only comments links and will not be follow Now i hope you are clear about your doubt
Puneet has written clearly.I hope you have understood. If any blog is nofollow ,do not use link services.
first you have to understand how nofollow works: http://www.google.com/support/webmasters/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=96569
read the code and see for yourself if the nofollow is only for the link section or the entire page. just wondering....would you buy a link with nofollow or not ?
