The fact is, majority of people who convert to Islam do it for the fear of getting killed and the rest through inducements. This lady might have taken to Islam to be in the news. Besides, if she ever claims to having realized the true religion after reading Quran, I will say, that she has never ever read Bible before that. I have read quran in my own native tongue but I never considered it as a religion, let alone a true religion. How can a thing / cult be any religion if it advises its men (only men) on things such as how many times they can fuc* their wives and at what age and how. It's nice to be what I am. And, there are millions of nut heads who presume they have read and understood quran. Many of them read it (if at all they do) in a language which they don't even understand and you are clearly one of them. Show me one ayat if not a whole chapter that preaches and insists on truthful living, speaking? The only truth quran holds up is why non-believers are to be killed by slaughtering their necks several times.

I'd say children raised in a religion are more likely to be devout than a convert, unless the convert was raised in some other ideologically similar environment.

Yeah, about two years ago I heard the same for Northern Italy. But I think that its mainly due to the lack of creativity of the Muslims.... their name list is very short.
