Hey. What I do basically for my blog is, I write content many of what is from my own experience and Modify some pre-written articles a bit. I also use Article Spinner sometimes randomly for Posts at my blog. I spread the article to websites like hotklix.com, humsurfer.com or even buzz.yahoo.com with a "Read Full Story at website.com" link. So just wanted to make sure if that's not detected as Duplicate ? One more thing I wanted to know of is : People use Article spinners to make unique articles for their blogs. There are also websites who pay you for submitting articles to them . Basically directories, So I just wanted to know if these people submit their spanned articles on those websites, get paid for it and never get caught ? If it works like this, then it's just GREAT! Now about some real SEO, as I said I post my Blog Links to other websites with a Full-Story link . I just wanted to know why my website doesn't come in search results . Even if I write the name of my website along with a post, then posts appear from other websites giving my link . Like from buzz.yahoo.com . And my original blog never comes in the search results. However, if searched individually "mixupdate.com" has the 1st position and "mixupdate" has 7th although it was 1st once and all the search results appeared properly whenever I searched for them. But what's the deal now ? I think I've been penalized for Duplicate articles which I really did in the start but I'm not sure and never had a message for it from Google. So how can I know a reason ? You can see the page source of my blog's main page and post's pages to see if there is anything wrong. I would appreciate this.
As long as you leave a reference to your original site, it is ok. Do not worry about it. Spinned article have poor readability. Sites that pays for article submission will have stricter guidelines and heavy moderation. So, you can try your luck but be prepared to get banned too. I would suggest you to hire content writers or at least proofreading service for all your spinned articles before submissions, especially those paid ones. The reason why other websites like buzz.yahoo.com shows up higher than your site is because of its authority. Build your own website's authority and trust with more one way high quality SEO back links. This will help to increase your website ranking in Google. Another way to boost up the ranking is by installing a blog and consistently update your blog with new contents. Make sure you have installed all the necessary SEO plugins like All In One SEO pack, Google XML sitemap, Google analytics, etc. Claim your blog in Google webmaster. Usually, if you write daily blog post, it will invite search engine crawlers to visit your blog every day. This will help your site's authority to go up too while helping your blog's real post or page ranking gets higher ranking in search compared to buzz.yahoo.com Check your site in Copyscape and try to edit any copied contents found on your site. This may be the quick way to avoid duplicate issue.
Thanks for the explanation mate. I have about more than 1500 posts, how can I keep checking all of them ? It would be very tough job to scan each and every page one by one and try to make modifications to it for avoiding duplication. My site is already added to Webmaster tools and I have the All in one SEO pack and Google site map. Never heard of Analytics plugin but will try to search for it. Please tell me some easy way of changing the content a bit and also knowing if really I was penalized for this or something else ?
