Does a perfect grammar affect SEO ?

I'm hiring some people to write some articles for me.

I have seen some of them comiting some mistakes, I mean, using some terms that aren't so common in english.

In other words, there are slightly small grammar imperfections on them.

Do you think the SE's will consider this while ranking my site ? Does a perfect grammar benefit your SERP ?

Your grammar doesn't have to be perfect to rank highly on search engines. But it must be readable enough for the visitors.

There are many things you can do to improve your ranking such as optimizing the title tag and the content as well as building backlinks to it.

I do not think grammars would really have any affect on your web site ranking in search engines.

Nope and actually misspelling some words can give you some interesting ranking. I sometimes do misspell some words for that reason :)

Grammar is not so big thing in search engine result. The main thing is that which type of grammar is prevalent in users' circle. For example, I was doing seo for an apartment site in Krakow, a city in Poland. I had to use three different spelling for the name of city, as Cracow, Crakow, & Kracow. Also there were things grammatically wrong in description. Since the local people used to make some mistake, so there was not necessity to write it correctly. The website is going well

Since content play most important role in bringing traffic to your site so it must be written perfectly with good English. But slight grammatic mistakes can be ignored if the overall content is keyword rich, unique and informative.

Grammar errors doesn't effect your ranking instead it may get you some unique traffic where someone accidentally type in wrong set of keywords or misspell.

If the readability is good, the visitors tend to visit more pages and this will help you to reduce bounce rate while increasing conversion.

Low readability might not help conversion and bounce rates.

Good grammar may have a subtle effect on SEO. If you are submitting an article to article directories - may of them would reject the article if it has grammatical mistakes. If you are planning to sell something on the site, your conversion rate might be affected.

If you write about a popular topic and expect to get some links naturally, forget about it ;-)

Definitely Grammar plays a very important role in content writing because if you can not express your idea or information correctly how it can be useful, So be careful about grammar and spelling mistakes while writing an article or blog post.
