basically file duplication do not help in any way
duplication is used to promote warez only there is no any other reason of file lost
so lets say you get duplicated how it can help you if first file deleted second is safe? no one can set it to unlimited duplicated backups

 

Oh, come on... We all know what file hosting sites are used for...

FileServe and FileSonic already offer unlimited duplicated backups (with folders management and other stuff).
Megashare is already in minority among file hosters. If it doesn't offer at least these basic features, the competition will win the game.

We are implementing file duplication and renaming feature. Just trying to understand the basic need of those features so that we may can offer something much better as we want to blow away our competitors.

File copying features mainly used as a backup of files or tracking purpose?

 

Hello, could someone from Megashare help me? Here's my problem.

First I made an affiliate account, I uploaded a few files & got some good hits, then I decided to upgrade to Premium so I can upload files larger than 1Gb, after I upgraded all the files that I've uploaded before the upgrade was gone along with my stats. In the Premium account now I can only see the first 7 files I uploaded along with the stats, now every single files I uploaded is not appearing in my account. Can you check whats the problem here & are all my stats are safe or did I just wasted a few days of uploading? I contacted Megashare using the website "Contact Us" button but its been 3 days and no response whatsover.

If I am not wrong you are from WJ Forums. We have already received your request from our another Affiliate Manager Styla Brite.

We are working to fix the 1GB problem and soon you'll be able to upload more than 1Gb files and also your nothing is lost, I am sure our tech department will find your files or at least we'll pay you on average for those files and fix this problem for future uploads.

I can't view stats page damn! I don't know what I have started up earning,
when I visit : www.megashare.com/stats.php and in profile page I get to view only my files and no.of downloads not earnings
here is what I get :

and you can't view your earnings because we share ad revenue with you which we calculate at the end of the month. Because of the fact that your earnings depends upon your traffic, we can't exactly show your earnings unless we analyze your traffic type.

btw files uploaded by me yesterday are not in my account. just noticed! lol...

 

at the End of your Profile page you may see 1 2 3 4 5 based on how much files you have uploaded the files you can not see are located in second page so click on 2 to see your files and download stats located at page 2

Then how in the world am I going to know about from where my clicks are generating ? As u use tier system an earnings table would help me analyze the current traffic I get. With the current policy its almost like going blindly into a system .

You have to change this method to attract more affiliates, this is my personal suggestion

Thanks for giving us a try but I didn't get it what do you mean by weekend? Is this your weekend habit to earn some money?

We can easily change this but you won't earn higher this way. we can introduce a fix price rates like all other file hosts.

Money should be more important than stats, isn't it?

Note: We are trying to fix the upload problem, you should have no problem now. Just let me know if you still face any problem.
