Hi, greeting from clearwebstats.com Is it true google has update page rank last week?? Do any one know how to measure, how many pages from my website have which rank according to google page rank?? I mean to say, how many pages are getting page rank increase from my website? As we have huge database its really hard for us to find how many pages having rank.. if any one know any website which can show numbers of pages which have rank inside our website will be glad. thankx clearwebstats.com TM
I have heard that Google is in the process of discussing the future of pageranks. An official announcement may be made by the end of the year. It is suspected that Google's pageranking system will be integrated in another manner. Users will no longer be able to see a website's pagerank. This is why no major pagerank update was done the past few months. There wont be one this year either. Apparently the new ranking system that will possibly replace the pagerank will directly influence search results in future. We will have to wait and see what Google decides about pagerank.
Attribution or it ain't true. Rumors of PR's demise have gone on for so long that anyone claiming to know something is full of crap or repeating the statements of someone who is full of crap.
Haven't noticed any update at all with all my sites. Heard rumors that they will never update it from now on.
Thankx to all, Well, We haven't seen rank has changes for my rest site, however one of my friend he grow upto 5 from 3, we're guessing some of our website (i.e. clearwebstats.com) 's inside pages rank may increases, so I want to know is there any way to measure internal page rank?? thankx clearwebstats.com TM
I had a talk with a source within Google, but I could not publish the article. He confirmed that G is busy in talks over PR. It may fall away permanently in its current form.
imho, global pagerank update will be never done again. Maybe a new type of rank will be revealed, like “trust rank†for example.
PR is not dead by any means google will update PR whether they update this year or next because its never too late to get a PR
Again guys, from the little info I got from a source in G, PR is likely never to die, it will probably only be implemented into the system in another way. If this is approved, we will never see page rankings again, it will work in a total different manner. There will not be PR 1, 2, 3, 4 etc., etc., If it fails, we are likely to see the old pageranking system back again by next year sometime., The changes in pangeranks you see now is small automated rectification changes, which does not affect the Internet or all websites.
If Google do not want to update PR (or continue it) then why they updated new websites from No Pr to Pr0???????????
There has been no pagerank and this topic is getting BOOOOORING , doesn't anybody search before they post???
