I would like to discuss about the baclinks which google gives more importance.
Alongwith it you may point out major sites that have no follow links.
First of all Dp is itself no follow, same is with twitter!

    Google Likes:

    Incontent permanent links

    Google almost ignores:

    Blog comments links
Forum posts links, forum signatures links, guestbooks links, articles and links directories links

Google doesn't like and punish for:

Link explosion, link bombing (a great number of links in a short time)
Mass link fallout (you find a way to get the links automatically and then they disappear all at once (this is the worst thing you can imagine)
Link clones (It's a real spam when you write one article and submit it on hundreds of sites and directories and the text of the article is the same and links are placed at the same areas of the text. Or, for example, you clone one comment in hundred of blogs)

Yup Google like natural links, I would say try to get links from edu and org sites not by spamming but by contributing in those sites, you can try guest blogging in this case.:)

See blog commenting forum posting where if your link is do follow then you will get the real juice of that particular and the more people will see your site. The do follow links are always more valuable than no follow as the name suggest that the no follow links are not being follow.I think other important point is that if your link and content is unique then many people them-self recommend you and your article as the best and your Google rank will increase.

Google also loves links in video sites, such as links in your YouTube video page.

Because they can be posted by anyone and often are used for spam. But you can still get PR from them if you need it.

God advice here except I do not agree on the blog commenting and forum posting. Sure a handful of posts doesn't help you, however thousands of post over years does as they now show value.

Not entirely true, links within posts, advertisements and recent blogs for members are set as nofollow while the rest are dofollow such as forum navigations, signature links, etc..

    Hi,
Why do you know so clearly? Are you a member of Google?
I still think forum posts links, forum signatures links are useful!
