How to Increase a Page rank for site?

How do i increase a page rank for sites..it s shows increasing trend for backlinks and visits but still PR is as it is from past 4 - 5 months.

 

Because there were no major PR updates in past 6-7 month by Google.

 

By Exchanging links with high PR pages of your niche you can get fast results. Dofollow links on different blogs are also very helpful.

 

agree with @Globaleyeglasses that there is no major PR update in last two quarters. Increase the backlinks with good PR sites for increasing the PR.

 

NO not necessary because Google updates PR 24x7 and PR updates on back link strength.
Your PR is not increasing that may be because your back links for your sites are not effective and the quality of back links are not good,here quality of back links means they are not full filling two criteria for increasing PR and that are....
1.PR - Means you may not have links from Good PR web pages.
2.BOL's - Means you may not have back links from good PR web pages with less out bond links in it.

 

Agree with this, my sites haven't changed for a good time now also

 

create backlink as many as you can get and do this with some good PR higher than you

 

If you want to improve your page rank then 1st thing modifying keywords in content, title, description, header tags etc., after that you should get back link with good PR sites by directory Submission, Social Bookmarking, Article & PR submission, Link exchange etc.

 

Continue building backlinks for your websites, the PR will update soon and you will get good results. Google has not updated PR from almost last 6 month, so soon we will see Pr updates.

google take time for pr updation. You have to try for backlinks and increase traffic on your site for increasing you pr.

 

Increase the quality and good page rank backlinks are best way to increase page rank. Do continue seo work and it will be increase next update.

 

For increasing PR of your website, you should submit your links to the site and directories which are having high PR. Submitting links to trusted sites are more beneficial to increase PR. Make sure that the Sites or Directories in which you are submitting your links, do not have the same C-Class IP. Because it will be counted as One only even though you submit hundred of websites. Try to Get backlinks from .gov or .edu extensions, it would be very helpful to increase PR.

 

In my experience, the best way to improve your pr is to get links on higher pr sites that are relevant to your site. I would concentrate on your serps and not page rank though unless your are just making and selling sites.

 

Also getting links in directories has not been very productive for me because if they do have a page rank, it is usually on the main page or a select few innner pages and not the page that your link will end up on.
