I've been conned once by realfans.net - f--king scam artists in India or somewhere.


I would really like to buy some UK/US/Aussie fans for a couple of sites to kick start the social media presence.

I am using a number of fans as a trust meter for the company's product so fake fans can do a great job here. Besides you can do both:
- getting real fans with facebook ads (very expensive >$0.50 / us fan), likebox on your homepage, etc. - they will engage with your brand, write on wall...
- and buy fake fans ($0.06 / us fan) to pretend your product is very popular and convince others to buy it

 

NOT ALL PROVIDERS SELL FAKE FANS, yes if you buy fans for a very cheap price without many good reviews, you are more then likely getting scammed by someone with alot of fake accounts. But more often then not you are getting REAL fans. It is not difficult to build facebook accounts with real people as friends, it just takes time. Before posting that all fans bought are fake fans, take some time and think about what you are saying. Do you really think companies that are selling 100k fan packages, really have 100k fake accounts? No they have spent years building 1000's of facebook accounts with real people and have the ability to suggest your page to millions of people. Just because you took the cheapest deal you could find online and got ripped off doesnt mean that all providers are the same.

just choose who you ask wisely & test with small batches first. some even guarantee a certain number of "likes" for your fan page.

I bought a package for 10,000 guaranteed fans, but they were all from India. nice way to boost number of fans, but no real effective marketing to be done there.
