That was a factor but i reckon it was a small factor, i reckon it was 90% about the money but i still reckon he wants to play for united, he always did...

Well one factor which I am sure he and his agent know is UEFA's fair policy which doesn't allowed to see any player to get better wages and Rooney knows only Manchester City can offer him more money but once UEFA's fair policy come he wouldn't face many problems so he would better to stay United and ask more money as this is his last big wages contract.

you might be right, but i don't agree with that
i don't think player like rooney will ever give preference to money.
if you are loyal then club is always over the rest
MANU didn't sign any good quality players for an year now....that could be the reason as well

Well apparently we have £60 million to spend, the Glazers send this as Rooney wants investment in the team, some good came out of the past week then...

Well reports in UK that Rooney was convinced by Joel Glazer and he promised to spend money and build new team! Also some source suggest that Rooney singed contract including a break clause which would allow the prolific striker to leave for as little as £30 million if certain targets are not met by the Red Devils on a year-by-year basis.

Yes but I never trust on Glazers! I wish they go out from here as soon as possible before fans kick them out of club.

He should have gone to Leeds. He could have been partnering Torres next season

True, i hope that we can do what Liverpool fans did and make sure their ridiculous owners sold the club. We need a huge protest if were going to drive the Glazers.

The whole thing has been proved to be a publicity scam in order to force the club to meet Rooney's demands. Personally i think that his recent for hadn't warranted the demand so that was why they refused such a big hike but as i say, Rooney admitted it to any angry fan while on holiday.
