He was accused of having inappropriate conversations and sending inappropriate images to a lady affiliated with the NY Jets (cheerleader, right?) when he was there. The NFL is investigating this.

I do get tired of seeing people take advantage of other peoples' celebrity. Celebrities do wrong things, I get that, but does this need to be mainstream news?

I hate to say it but if he was black, it would be a lot bigger than what the media has made of it to this point. He would be sitting on the sidelines due to the pressure from outside sources calling for his suspension and/or termination, Wrangler jeans would stop running his ads, he would have woman rights groups coming down on him and Police investigation regarding sexual harassment. As sources confirmed, he sent pics of his package to this chick, that's harassment to me. It's just too bad for his pretty wife.

Keep in mind, I am not black, I'm just thinking out loud.

Are you kidding? It would be just the opposite.

Look at Ben Roethlisberger. He had to sit out 4 games and was never ever charged with any wrong doing. Oh, he's white.

The Black Athletes that have been sidelined as I recall have been involved in shootings, drugs, domestic abuse and murdering dogs.

I think the thing people need to realize here is this is not a black or white thing. These are professional athletes. This is what they do, black or white - we come expect and tolerate this behavior.

What other occupation asks you back for several millions dollars after you raped a underage girl? The NFL.
What other occupation asks you back for several millions dollars after you kill dogs for money? The NFL.

As for Wrangler stopping the ads? Charlie Sheen had his ads pulled pretty quickly. And he's white.

I'm just not sure where you are going with this. Seems to me the suspensions, terminations, loss of advertisers is all pretty much equal across the board.

I think he i going to end up getting suspended for a few games because of this, he has basically admitted to it, and sexual harassment of team employees is not just going to be overlooked

Brett Favre seemed like a juvenile, he still chasing women, and he is a married man with children.

That takes no brains, and no morals … he should be suspended for one year

I absolutely love this. I despise the guy for being such an a-hole and costing his teams wins.

His personal and professional life should be separate. I don't think kids should be looking up to any sports figure for the most part anyway. Just let him play ball...he'll probably be done after this year anyway. Finally...
