Infolinks owe me more than $1300 for September payment before they accused me of fraudulent activity that they are never able to proof it!!! my august revenue was $900+ and they sent to my paypal. that's good. But a month later, they closed my account. I do not need to do any fraudulent activity or cheating to my account because my site is in high traffic. i do not need to click my own ads, my visitors are more than a million per month!!! i really like to kick their fat ass!!!! gggrrrrr!!!! wtf!
@komendan , how long you have been with them? Was your income steady around these numbers, or it just jumped one day to these numbers?
@Montreal, just join them by june, start installing the code by july. August ($900) was my first time (one and only) payment (revenue from july period) from infolinks. for August period, my revenue was increased to $1300+ by following their suggestion to increase revenue using related tag (http://blog.infolinks.com/2010/08/17/increase-your-earnings-with-related-tags/). In the beginning of September, eCPM rate suddenly dropped, and i discussed with the support team how to avoid this. And they gave suggestion to try playing with the advance code (changing color, channel etc), but no luck. And by the end of September, i received email from them that accused me of fraudulent activity. WTF!!!
I agree, not nice at all, but this is how all such programs do. I had similar situation with Adsense, and you have no support there.
Thank God i left them, they have become horrible, their account manager contacted me several times to optimize but all in vain, all i made was peanuts. Ads have horrible JavaScript.
yeah... and how do you monetize your site now? i've been paid only on my first ever payment, $900+, but they robbed my second revenue ($1300+)!!
I'm using Infolinks for inline ads and Chango for contextual. Chango shows ads only for traffic coming from search engines.
Contact me @ if your site renders More than 20,000 page-views per day, we can work on $2-$3 eCPM for quality traffic worldwide. Best in class Intext advertising.
I would rather let my readers happy and not annoyed by advertising text links.. unless if you can get like 20-50 cents a click
Site monetization is important, and what infolinks is supposed to be doing. Sadly, they've dropped that ball the past couple years. They USED to be rather decent, but now it's just pretty much nothing.
