Apparently since google has redone completely this tool it has not gain anything more than criticism and bugs. ppl were fine with the old version and google forums are full of petitions to get it back. If it were only because of the usability that would not be a really big concern. But in the last few days keyword info returned by google keyword tool has dropped on the most absolute absurd. So absurd that you can stare at the output and tell that they are wrong without more research. Now forums are getting lot of posts offering proofs of those "funny" situtations. Ive just guessed myself how a very common key phrase (keyword stop preposition keyword) has gone from having 1.2million search a month locally 1.5 million search global, to 4.400 searches locally and 4400 searches globally. And changing languages and country options do not alter the output and keep them always the same for global and local. Google forums are receiving posts were ppl include real proofs that make this tool appear as an absurd joke to a webmaster. I cannot expect a company in a monopolistic situation to do nothing just because ppl ask for it but at least i expecto to keep you warned about this so you dont waste your time and money. Do you guys have noticed it, or do you just use other alternatives either free or paid.
I noticed it. I was doing a search on a keyword yesterday and showed under local monthly searches a number in the thousands and now it shows the numbers in its hundreds with the exact same keyword. So messed up!!

Yes the tools is a mess. I have noticed a very big changes in the keywords that I rank for since they updated the tool
