SEO benefits of using Twitter or facebook

here are some tips for SEO Benifits of using twitter or facebook, If you want to have a good user name like “SEO Training”, which might be your primary keyword, it helps in some ways. but the following conditions apply.
1.You must have at least 1000 followers or facebook fans
2.They must all be one sided, that is…you shouldn’t be following them
3.They should be all active guys on Twitter or facebook, preferably
4.They should interact with you

I do not think twitter gives you direct benefits .I have posted my links on facebook in groups and now it is showing as backlink in google webmaster tool .

 

now a days twitter has no effect on links posting .
it is like a dumb site for many new seo peoples

Yes I agree with arnoldsmithh, you need targeted followers or fans, who ready like your product or share same interest and convert them into your customers. Why we need so much traffic because we need to make money from traffic.

 

I tried posting links on twitter account with 5k followers, no luck at all.

I think facebook & twitter has not more SEO benefits but yes you can drive huge traffic to your site. So if you have good traffic on your site naturally Google give you more weight in SREP. Try to drive visitors with these two most dominated social sites instead of looking for SEO benefits. Popular or more traffic sites automatically give more weightage by search engines.

There is no set number of minimum or maximum number of fans or followers that you should have in order to gain popularity on Facebook or Twitter. If you post crap, even a million fans won't help (just a way of saying, you won't have a million fans by posting crap in the first place). It is all about building that network which can help popularize things on FB and Twitter.

 

I don't think the benefits of Twitter and Facebook posting are so much for SEO purposes as they are to build relationships in your niche. If you have the right user name and it go about it as something permanent, meant to build lasting relationships, you will improve your business, but it's not really SEO focused. You would do better from an SEO standpoint to write and submit articles.
