Well the site was www.thegamespond.com before and changed to gamefuss.com a year ago and thegamespond.com is 301 redirecting on gamefuss.com ( i will give that domain to you too if you buy the site )

The website is a year old as gamefuss.com ( domain is three years old non drop) and was 1.5-2 years as thegamespond.com

----> The site sponsored 5 games till now within the last 3 months and i have source for one of them ( i get shared revenue for ads on them and the sponsorships are relatively newly sponsored and not yet very distributed and can bring some good traffic if you distribute them better and get more traffic)

10K is too much for 15K visitors. Also your main revenue is link sales which may penalize the site anytime

 

Not link sales.. Banner space sales , as well as nofollow links.. i dont do anything blackhat..


15000k visitors but focused on SEO .. i could easily increase the traffic but the point is to get quality traffic..

$10000 is my expected bin price .. I would consider all offers though

Some questions:

(1) Do rights to the Flash games come with sale of this site? (or are these flash games something you've collected from other authors?) If so, what kind of rights: distribution-only, non-exclusive derivative-works, complete exclusive rights, etc.?
(2) Do you have access to the source code for the Flash games?
(3) What do the loyalty stats look like? Are there a lot of players that come back, and if so, for how often and how long?

The rest are games that i am authorised to distribute by their respective owners

Well each and every game owner posts the game on a distribution network.. I drag the games directly from the distribution network.. to post the game to the network they agree that they own the rights to distribute the games so you are fully covered

The database includes emails of all members

There can be trophies, tournaments , and highscores but i havent implemented them .. i didnt need them ... you can add them though

 

I'll want to see the agreements and make my own assessment on whether I am "fully covered" or not. That wasn't the important thing. I'm looking at the potential for in-game advertising and leaderboards, and unless all the authors uses a common protocol for that, I don't see how that's going to be implementable. $10k BIN is ridiculously high, as that is 16 - 32 months to make back the initial investment assuming non-in-game ad revenue stream remains steady. $10k might be worth it if you control most or all of the source code on those Flash games, or at least have some way of contacting the game authors, but ... Well, looks like you got a bidder at $3k. Good luck to you.

 

All games distributed contain ingame advertising ( most of them ) from which you get a share ..

You cant have access all the source codes because that will cost millions to get exclusive source to each and every site ..

Developing games is expensive..

Also my site sponsored 5 games which is really good for a site at this state..

Also the ingame advertising are based on CPMSTAR ( you get a share on your games) and mochi ads ( get a share whoever implemented the ads 10%)

Also the leaderboards mostly are mochi ( world wide coverage )


You could implement your own high scores if you liked . the script supports it

What was the logic behind moving from thegamespond.com to gamefuss.com the previous domain sounds better and with arcades people do remember domains.

Also thegamespond.com is not 301 redirecting ? that's gonna have to hurt the long term SEO... ?

 

This changed to make a brand domain .. after redirecting the seo dropped a bit thats true... but that was over a year before.. The site from 6 months till today ranked top for huge keywords (top40) ..

It even ranked #12 for a keyword of 15,000,000 searches which is doable again ..

You would get both domains with the sale .

 

The question with ranking is only: search people for the keyword or not, but anyway...congratulaton for the 3000 bid, i think nobody bid higher
