I am receiving an rss feed error on my site. I just received an email from one of my visitors saying that she wasn't able to subscribe. I have been checking it using: http://feedvalidator.org/ my site is slymarketing.com I have no idea how to fix it. I would really appreciate any suggestions. -- Jens
I wanted to let you know I hate your site because it has those loathesome popups that appear before anything else. They are detestable! As a result I close the browser. As for your RSS - beats me, I closed the browser.
Thanks a lot. I have also tested a wordpress plugin fix-rss-feed. Think that it fixed my problem. -- Jens
Ouch, didn't know that people actually hated my blog I have deactivated the plugin, I hope that you will find my blog more useful now.
Good for you! I honestly don't see the point of blocking access to a website with a pop-up like the one you had to subscribe to your newsletter. Make one appear when someone is leaving the site, sure. Even an eensy little one that sits to the side of the screen that doesn't interfere with browsing (better option, imo) - those I can tolerate but not a huge one that appears first and stops any interaction with the site. Edit: it's actually quite interesting.
I agree. The reason I was using one was because the results was a lot better (a lot more people subscribed to my newsletter). But, it sort of destroys my website, because a lot of people (like you) closed the site before reading any of the content. So, at the moment I'm testing a subscription box below my articles instead
