To use domain as keyword in linking, is harmful for seo point of view. I make link for the site on which i am doing seo. Some website owners add my domain name as my title e.g. mydomain.com Please let me know if it is necessary to remove my link from those pages.
In my experience - no. This is how get my sites to rank high on google, I register domains with the keyword in the url, such as keyword.com then repeat keyword in page description as example here. Selling designer shoes --domain designershoes dot com (if it is available) then as home page title you would put -- Designer shoes | Cheap Designer Shoes then page description would be --Designer shoes are available at different prices, but finding cheaper designer shoes can be a challenge..... Get the idea? This will make your site appeal for the term designer shoes.
Keyword in the domain name does count, only a little though, google isnt about to put these domains in position 1 just becuase your domain has the keyword in.
No i think its not you can use your url as your title name. Copyright law does not protect domain names a nonprofit organization that has assumed the responsibility for domain name system management, administers the assignation of domain names through accredited registers.
I do agree with you, Domain as a title is not bad for your site of SEO point of view but Google showing in SERPs just only keyword not domain. If you targeting keyword than you have put that keyword as title because it will help you to get high rank in SERPs. If you will put your domain as title than no benefit for your site.
