    Umm. Avira always gets 99%+ detection rates and ranks consistently as #1 or #2. I suggest you look into it

    Okay then that's the choice may vary depending on your usage. basically all anti-virus to eliminate the virus.

    Correct what I mean? or any other input that could be developed within this forum? . . .

    Panda cloud is quite good, in fact it catches allot more stuff than AVG would on my PC.

    You can try ClamAv. It is an open source antivirus. That means free, and u can use it for your windows computer, or linux. more information, u can see the website, or search on google :)

    avast > avira / avg / kaspersky :p free for personal use and no bloatware + no ads popping up all the time telling you to pay for the "premium" version. i have used for 2 years now and not ONE single malware / trojan / worm / etc

    I agree with most people here. AVG is the best free antivirus, closely followed by Avast.
