What is the best way of changing your sites' IPs so that Google count them as different IPs?

    Many thanks.

I'm going to go out on a limb here, and say - Use different IP addresses.

You could use different hosting companies for various sites, or host your servers in different data centers. If you sign up for another site with the same hosting company weeks or months later, they might put you on a different server with different IPs.

Really, though, if you put together a decent link building campaign, the variance of the IPs in your backlinks will occur naturally.

I haven't seen much advantage of having multiple hosting / multiple sites.
Those 5 backlinks you can earn that way from other website of yours... aren't much important, IMHO.

IP's really don't make a difference unless you're running like secure stuff (ecommerce etc...).

Um, but if you really wanted to, some hosting companies do unique IPs.

    And, LOL nevetS

    Thanks for your help guys.

And one more question. One hosting company can provide with different IP addresses, but they won't be completely different, you know what I mean?
Only the last digits will be different.

Is that ok for search engines, especially Google? I mean, will it determine such IPs as IPs on different C classes?

    Thanks.

IP address makes no difference at all. Don't forget your 2 IP different IP addresses will still be registered to the same host in the same geographical location.

Also the whois details for the 2 sites may give the game away.......

    This is what I wonder.

    Do they actually care about:
    1. Different IPs or different hosts? Or both?
    2. Geographical location?

Should I better use different hosting companies then?

If your site is relying on links from your other sites then you have bigger things to worry about IMO.

You need to get some links from sites that are not yours.

Yea, I know that, but what's wrong with links from my own sites if they all have different IPs?
    What's the difference?

If google suddenly devalues the links from your sites then you end up with no links.

    How to avoid that?
How can Google know that those are mine sites?

If sites are hosted on the same hosting company, it doesn't mean yet they belong to the same person though.
Which else factors should I consider?

    Thanks for sharing.

Try and have your sites hosted on different C-class IP blocks. ie. different hosting companies.

Is a way of making my sites just different IPs hosted on one hosting is a bad idea?

    Thanks.
