Selling Education Site for Older Nontraditional Students

I, as founder, owner and editor-in-chief of http://www.StudentsOver30.com, am selling the site to a person or company who can continue to grow it as it deserves to be grown. I am busy with other projects and cannot give the site the attention it deserves.

For sale are the [domain] name, logo/branding, images, editorial and news’ content currently on the site and the StudentsOver30 forum. I can also be a consultant for three months until you get into the swing of things.

The site was originally established as a marketing platform for a memoir that I was writing about going back to college over 30 years old, a memoir that is nearly complete—over 100 pages—but I am unsure if I will ever complete the manuscript. I went back to college at the age of 32 and found that most of the books about college were geared towards 18-year-olds, but according to the Department of Education, nearly 25% of all college students are over the age of 25. Thus, writing a book and creating a news’ site for older students made sense.

The site currently has 187 articles (which were written with keywords in mind from both re-written press releases and original content, but also has some articles that were published elsewhere), about 12,000 visitors monthly and it was registered in February 2008; it’s a niche site. the current alexa of the site is more that 2m (which means traffic is really low) and pr 2; so what makes you to believe that the site worth 2.5k ØŸ
in my opinion the site worth around $100. No offense, but that is what i think.
