What kind of site are you advertising? I have several websites and I'm willing to place banner ads for $2 per month on each site but I can't advertise for porn or similar themes. Also, a couple friends and I are working on a PTC site if you are wanting dirt cheap advertising for traffic.

 

Honestly, you are likely to get a very poor ROI if you aren't particular about where you get your advertising. For example, someone who has a bunch of emails who are interested in dog training are less likely to visit your site that sells kitchen appliances. There is no relation in them. You need to look at sites that would compliment yours. Using my example of you owning a kitchen appliance website, you would probably be better off looking to advertise on sites that have recipes or sell pots and pans.

All you need to do is go to related websites and email them about advertising opportunities. Most people who own websites would love for you to pay them a small amount to advertise on their website. The busier and bigger the website, the more expensive it gets. Just keep in mind that prices are always negotiable!

 

it really depends on the amount of records you are looking to send to but any where from 1,000.00 total for 50k records - 3,000.00 for 1 million records. What you pay for is a email list that you will own and email campaign that sends all the emails for you compliant with the can spam laws.

 

$1,000?! Wow, I didn't think these kinds of things were that expensive.

 

the list itself is cheap but the sending is expensive. Of course you can do it yourself but you should look up can spam act and check with internet service provider rules.
